Moms Offering Moms Support
MOMS Club is an International non-profit offering support, through local chapters, to primarily stay-at-home moms, but all moms are welcome to join our chapter. We provide a way to meet other moms and their children, and enjoy fun activities!
MOMS Club of the Foothills, California welcomes moms in Kagel Canyon, La Canada, La Crescenta, Lake View Terrace, Montrose, Shadow Hills, Sparr Heights, Sunland, and Tujunga.* Membership dues are $30 per year. Join now, or reach out to our Membership VP at firstname.lastname@example.org for more info. You can also find us on Facebook. *Live outside the area? Visit MOMS Club International to find your chapter.
Our chapter activities include:
Monthly Member Socials – These gatherings are where we discuss and vote on all Club issues and our activities. We often have a discussion topic or a guest speaker or special activity, and we always have FREE CHILDCARE! These events are open to prospective MOMS Club members.
Artsy Kids – This monthly event is an art-making playgroup for preschool-aged children. Each month we explore a different theme, technique, or material.
Book Nook Readers Club – This group gets together monthly to discuss a shared loved of reading and to encourage each other to read more. There is a different theme for the discussion each month.
Coffee Talk – Once a month we get together for a breakfast pot-luck at a member’s home.
Empty Nesters – A group for MOMS with school aged children where we meet twice a month while the kids are in school for support and sharing advice for the next chapter in motherhood.
Field Trips- We vary the location and cost of our monthly Field Trips to accommodate all members. We LOVE to hear ideas for Field Trips!
HOOT & HOWL (“Husbands Out Of Town/ Husband Working Late”) – Once a month we have a get together in the evening for those moms who need a little support when dad is gone (all are welcome to attend, even if dad is in town!).
Mom’s Night Out – A night to not be “mom” for a few hours and enjoy each others’ company. This usually happens on a monthly basis, and is without children.
Park Playdates – We have several park playdates every month, held in local parks in the morning and afternoon. These events are open to prospective MOMS Club members.
Playgroups– Children of the same age get together, along with their Moms, each week to play and share. These activities are hosted by the members in each group. Multi-Age playgroups are available.
Service Projects – Our chapter contributes to the community through our Service Projects. To learn more, please visit our Service Project page.
In addition to these activities, our Club provides a network of support. Whether you are new to the area, new to motherhood, or are just looking to make new friends or get more involved in the community, MOMS Club of the Foothills is here to meet your needs. Please join us!
